As a speaker, Jan ignites faith in her listeners by sharing her powerful testimony of God’s mercy and strength in her life. In her testimony, Jan weaves in teachings on Christ as our Bridegroom, marriage, grief and loss, church hurts, and women of the Bible. Jan is the author of The Groom, the Bride, and the Matchmaker: How Ancient Jewish Rituals Reveal Jesus. She is also the author of “Java with Jan,” a monthly blog that inspires her readers to connect with God through prayer and stories.

Jan has led Bible studies for women for over fifty years. As a former pastor, she has influenced thousands of women by connecting them to Scripture. In addition to her books and devotionals, Jan has written and taught a Bible study series about Rehab, Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Jacob, and Leah, among many others. Her passion is applying the Old Testament and New Testament to our lives today.

Jan lives in North Texas with her large family, including five grandchildren, and proudly serves alongside her husband, George, as a partner with One for Israel.
